The Benefits Of NLP

Filed under: Hypnosis NLP — maghyp @ 9:00 pm

NLP was created by observing and modeling people who were exceptionally talented within the field of therapy. NLP stands for Neuro-linguistic programming. Neuro relating to the brain and linguistic refers to the language used, and how it is used. Programming describes the patterns and habits you create, learn and persistently follow. As we experience the world through our senses, the information is translated into thoughts/ words. The thoughts affect our physiology, emotions and behaviour which can be heightened or dampened depending on how you use language within your own brain.

Therefore, NLP is the use of effective techniques and strategies to create changes in your thinking and communication to achieve different and better results.

More and more people are realising the value of NLP in enabling them to become more effective in their chosen field. In fact, NLP techniques and models are now being used in a diverse range of areas including education, business and human resources, sport, personal development and health.

Business
NLP techniques enhance a variety of business activities. They are often present in courses about selling, presenting and team-building. Other applications of NLP in business include, teaching people to communicate more effectively and persuasively, public speaking and presentations, detecting decision-making strategies in others, making employee training more effective by working on beliefs, practical tools for employees to achieve peak performance and boosting motivation by aligning work with values. Instant rapport.

Education
NLP provides a model of how we communicate with ourselves and others. NLP can used in teaching to improve the ability to impart information in ways that makes learning easier. For example, identifying natural learning styles, use of presuppositions and language patterns and eliciting states in learners that are congruent with learning.

Sport
NLP is used by sport coaches to aid their clients in reaching and maintaining peak performance. Interventions include modeling and learning successful strategies from leaders in sporting fields, setting performance goals and overcoming plateaus and blocks.

Health
NLP offers a cognitive model and practical tools that can help you improve the health of yourself and others. It is becoming widely accepted within mainstream healthcare that there is a link between our thoughts, behaviour and health. NLP practitioners who choose to work within therapy can help individuals lead more satisfying lives in a number of ways. This may include, helping individuals to change limiting beliefs, habits and behaviour, facilitating people to manage states and emotions and helping individuals to find meaning in life by setting achievable well-formed goals.

The Joy From A Magic Show

Filed under: Magician Magic Shows — maghyp @ 9:00 pm

Children and adults alike enjoy magical shows. Magical presentations are among the most popular past times among people of all ages, especially those who are fond of seeing folks who are clever in manipulating objects or controlling natural events.

Magicians, one who is skilled in performing optical illusion or sleight of hand, are particularly clever in performing amazing tricks. These very same tricks astound people and keep them from coming back.

There are several ways by which you experience the joy of this entertainment. You can either visit a nearby circus which are either permanent or mobile, and or with your friends who are gifted with this wonderful craft.

Magic Tricks

The very core of magic display is the exhibition of tricks. All tricks are done by using objects which either take the form of an animal or are turn into something spectacular.

Humans can also become subjects for performing tricks although current federal laws limit the use of human subjects in the performance of magic tricks.

Although magic tricks make up the most magic exposition, there are those that perform magic using no other objects but themselves.

Famous magicians of yesteryears such as Harry Houdini or Doug Henning mostly make use of material accessories in the performance of their magic tricks.

They make use of illusions out of the material (hat, baton, handkerchief, flowers, paper, etc.) they use which aim to amaze and mystify audience.

Even more startling is the event when other famous magicians perceivably vanish structures such the Statue of Liberty, Taj Mahal and the Space Shuttle. In a similar event, Harry Hudoini apparently made a huge elephant disappear in front of a large audience.

Modern Magic

Modern illusionists (magicians) are bolder compared with previous practitioners. Some worth mentioning are Jeff Sheridan, Franko B and the most famous David Blaine.

David Blaine rose to popularity due to the performance of outstanding, yet bold acts. He has performed levitation, animate dead insects, baffling illusions, among others.

Today’s magicians virtually abandoned the usual magic production: an illusionist pull a rabbit out of a black, empty hat, a glass of water disappear as it is maneuvered across a board, and pour coins from an empty bottle.

Current practice includes exhibition and outrageous production like being stuck in the ice for hours with no interruptions.

Aside from the aforementioned activities, the joy of magic is also incorporated in activities related to birthday parties, education programs, corporate events, and youth groups.

Self Hypnosis Cds - Relief from Stress CD

Filed under: Hypnosis NLP — maghyp @ 9:00 am

The number one most popular issue that users of a self hypnosis cd or clients of a hypnotherapist seek help with is stress. Even if their presenting issue appears different, such as a phobia or lack of confidence, somewhere in the mix will be a stress issue. So helping anyone to reduce their stress can be a great and effective way of reducing the symptoms and often the cause of any issue.

Self hypnosis either with the use of a self hypnosis cd or without any aid whatsoever is a technique that can not only assist stress reduction and encourage more and longer lasting feelings of relaxation it can also help alleviate the cause of the problem or issue.

Most often the causes of any issue whether physical, mental or emotional is incorrect thinking about life’s events. There is no doubt that we are different from each other for many reasons. One of the main differences is being to perceive an identical and often the same event than someone who experiences that event at the same time.

A well-known example is what I refer to as the “2 Half Pints of Beer Scenario”. This is the story of two men in a bar who have been drinking beer. They both have the same amount of beer left to drink: a half of a pint. One the men thinks to himself “oh no, my glass is half empty”. The other man thinks, “Great, my glass is still half full”.

Now both these chaps are in the same situation and have the same physical stimulus in front of them. Yet one is obviously having a better time of it than the other. Most often these to chaps are referred to as the pessimist and the optimist.

So it is not necessarily what happens on our world that causes us to have an issue or stress, most often it can be the way we perceive a situation and ultimately how e process that situation and store it away as a memory.

As you know, some memories just give us a neutral feeling, or no feeling at all when we think about them. An example would be writing a note or driving to the shops for most people. When you think about that memory of driving to the shops or writing that note, it does not bring up any strong feelings.

Thinking about a memory of being laughed at by your whole class when in senior school can bring with it a decidedly uncomfortable feeling. On the other hand, the memory winning that egg and spoon race when you were only 3 years old can bring happy and carefree feelings.

Changing the way we think about past and what appear to be negative events can give us a sense of release and prevent us subconsciously sabotaging future opportunities. Coupled with a relaxation regime such as listening regularly to a self-hypnosis cd can really pay dividends. After all once you have learnt the lesson of the past event (which might be to make sure you prepare for a speech) why do you have to carry the unhelpful feelings around. There really is no need to be burdened anymore is there not?
