The Joy From A Magic Show

Filed under: Magician Magic Shows — maghyp @ 10:00 pm

Children and adults alike enjoy magical shows. Magical presentations are among the most popular past times among people of all ages, especially those who are fond of seeing folks who are clever in manipulating objects or controlling natural events.

Magicians, one who is skilled in performing optical illusion or sleight of hand, are particularly clever in performing amazing tricks. These very same tricks astound people and keep them from coming back.

There are several ways by which you experience the joy of this entertainment. You can either visit a nearby circus which are either permanent or mobile, and or with your friends who are gifted with this wonderful craft.

Magic Tricks

The very core of magic display is the exhibition of tricks. All tricks are done by using objects which either take the form of an animal or are turn into something spectacular.

Humans can also become subjects for performing tricks although current federal laws limit the use of human subjects in the performance of magic tricks.

Although magic tricks make up the most magic exposition, there are those that perform magic using no other objects but themselves.

Famous magicians of yesteryears such as Harry Houdini or Doug Henning mostly make use of material accessories in the performance of their magic tricks.

They make use of illusions out of the material (hat, baton, handkerchief, flowers, paper, etc.) they use which aim to amaze and mystify audience.

Even more startling is the event when other famous magicians perceivably vanish structures such the Statue of Liberty, Taj Mahal and the Space Shuttle. In a similar event, Harry Hudoini apparently made a huge elephant disappear in front of a large audience.

Modern Magic

Modern illusionists (magicians) are bolder compared with previous practitioners. Some worth mentioning are Jeff Sheridan, Franko B and the most famous David Blaine.

David Blaine rose to popularity due to the performance of outstanding, yet bold acts. He has performed levitation, animate dead insects, baffling illusions, among others.

Today’s magicians virtually abandoned the usual magic production: an illusionist pull a rabbit out of a black, empty hat, a glass of water disappear as it is maneuvered across a board, and pour coins from an empty bottle.

Current practice includes exhibition and outrageous production like being stuck in the ice for hours with no interruptions.

Aside from the aforementioned activities, the joy of magic is also incorporated in activities related to birthday parties, education programs, corporate events, and youth groups.

Self Hypnosis Cds - Whisper Subliminals

Filed under: Hypnosis NLP — maghyp @ 4:00 am

In the last article I discussed the concept of subliminal elements that can be included with self hypnosis cds. In this article, I want to describe a special type of subliminal persuasion, namely the whisper subliminal.

Duncan McColl developed the idea of whisper subliminals and I will leave it to his own words to describe how this came about.

“A whole new concept in subliminal healing evolved in 1990 in meeting an exceptional need for a cd to assist in a difficult childbirth case.

Meeting an exceptional challenge in 1992 produced another innovation in recording therapy: Whisper Subliminal.

Quite simply… the musical ’screening’ is removed and the high-speed subliminal message is recorded at low volume. In using the recording, the volume is turned down so that the whisper becomes inaudible. The subliminal message is then received and implemented by the subconscious control levels of mind to the precise degree that it is beneficial to whoever is within normal hearing range…

The whisper subliminal recording can be played at anytime, including while driving, reading or watching television. The beneficial influence is apparent immediately.” Duncan McColl

The great benefit of a Whisper Subliminal recording is that you do not have to take time out to listen to it. You can just have it playing in the background and because the sound is turned down to below audibility it does not interfere with anything else you might be doing or concentrating on. It is a truly unique concept and a great asset to the person who wants to change but finds they have no time to do so.

On many of the Self Hypnosis cds authored by Duncan there is a Whisper Subliminal track to add to the choice of the listener

Don’t mess with my Magic Trick!

Filed under: Magician Magic Shows — maghyp @ 10:00 am

Don t mess with my Magic Trick!!

There is usually one in every crowd that just has to be the
spoiler in exposing your magic trick. You know, the guy, and I
say guy, not girl, for a reason, as in all my experiences, I
have yet to have a girl behave in what I am about to describe.

So there you are, about to demonstrate this unbelievable magic
trick to this one person or maybe even to a crowd of anxious
onlookers. You start doing your patter talk, maybe explaining
there are mysterious powers all around us, and you are about to
demonstrate these powers to them by say for example, doing the
magic trick Floating Bill routine. So you ask somebody to lend
you a dollar bill so you can prove to your now eager audience,
doubtful, but eager audience in what you mean.

So you set the stage and the mood for the magic trick that you
are about to perform, you are all set, you got everybody in the
palm of your hands, well, except for this one yahoo, yes I call
them yahoo s, just has a nice ring to it. I have other names
also, but let s keep this G rated. Ok, you ve got the dollar
bill, everything is set…and there you go…the dollar bill is
slowly rising from your hand, everybody s eyes just got a little
bigger as they are really not doubtful, they are now beginning
to believe in the mysterious powers you spoke of earlier. You
are now the star of the show, the dollar bill is now moving on
your command, up and down, everybody is in disbelief, wow, this
is awesome….and then…bam, here comes yahoo, who goes and
gives the dollar bill a swat with his hand trying to expose the
magic trick secret, trying to steal the show, be the spoiler,
just to prove that there is no such thing in magic!! What do
you do? Well, you grab him by the head….oh, wait a minute, G
rated, yes, what you do is very important at this point to keep
your reputation intact and to keep the people that you did have
enjoying the magic trick to want you to do more even though they
may have doubts in what you were just doing.

Best thing to do….is laugh, no matter how embarrassed or
exposed you may feel that the magic trick secret maybe out of
the bag, you play along as if nothing happened. You say How can
I do that? . Just do it. Explain to them, oh, it seems like
some devilish powers have come , and point to the yahoo, it
seems someone doesn t want to witness this amazing feat of
magic , and apologize to everyone, putting the onus on the
yahoo. Believe me, everyone will be disappointed and upset at
this yahoo for spoiling the magic trick show.

And then…you walk away…yep, walk away..you do not want to
try and perform any other magic tricks with the yahoo in your
presence as you will not feel comfortable with your routines as
you know the yahoo will try and tell everybody he knows how you
did this or did that just to take the spotlight away from you.
This is the best thing you can do and believe me, people that
were there will come to you to want to see your magic tricks and
these are the people you want!!! The people that want to
believe in magic!!!!
