How To Hypnotize Someone - Some Easy Steps

Filed under: Hypnosis NLP — author @ 10:33 pm

Hypnotising someone is not as difficult to achieve as many people may think. The most important thing in hypnotics is the element of trust. Firstly, the person being hypnotized has to trust entirely the hypnotist and must also want to be hypnotised. If the individual has faith and an open mind, then it is far more likely that they can be hypnotised. There are a number of ways how to hypnotize someone. This article discussed the most popular and easiest method.

The person to be hypnotized must be relaxed and lying down, wearing comfortable and loose clothes. Become comfortable and relaxed is the most important aspect after the trust factor.

The hypnotist should then focus on helping the patient to calm down by telling the patient to focus on slowing down their breathing and relaxing every muscle in their body. This part will take a bit of time and does require some patience since some people will take longer to relax than others and find a state of trance. Once the patient is utterly relaxed, they should give a signal to tell the hypnotist. This should be discussed beforehand.

While focusing on breathing slowly, the patient should be able to maintain a relaxed state. The hypnotist should then, when the person is clearly ready, tell the individual to focus on something very specific while keeping every other thought out of their mind. While this does require an element of control on the part of he or she being hypnotised, the hypnotist can help by speaking gently and choosing their words with care. Hypnotism can be done for a number of reasons, and these should be thoroughly covered before starting.

To get the person back out of their hypnotic trance and into a regular state of mind, it should be carried out slowly and carefully, lest the individual could end up being shocked and / or paranoid.
